Short yet very powerful post! I agree that if we don't our habits, they will affect our whole well being. Breaking a bad habit can be difficult, but it isn’t impossible.

Katie,

I call it the "witness." But it's over and above words isn't it?

I'm always happy to see another soul living in the light.

In Peace Profound, Joe

I have found that I cannot give out more than I get in return.

This is in regards to both good and bad. If I give a smile or kind word, I get back two of the same.

But, when I give out insults or other items of bad stuff, I get it back in multiples.

Also, I try not to have resentments. I have heard that having a resentment is like taking poison and expecting someone else to die.

We find what we look for. If we look for sadness and pain that is what we will see. If we look for joy and happiness, that is what will be presented.

My mind does not know the difference between a calamity or a miracle at the time that it happens. I just have to trust that I am being presented the things that are the best for my life relative to what I am looking for.

Life is as good as I allow it to be.

Hi,
I just chose you for the “You Make My Day” award that is going around the blogosphere. You don’t need to play along unless you want to. I don’t normally participate in these things, but I thought you may like to know that I read your blog every time you update it, and enjoy it. So, whether you make me laugh, think about things in a new way, or just let me see your part of the world and your point of view, THANKS !

You can read more about your award on my blog: http://gaylemckay.wordpress.com/2008/01/21/a-fun-surprise/

And if you want to know more about what we do, feel free to visit our website too.

Thanks again for making my days more interesting!
